The Plaid Family
Displays
in the plaid family can be very
variable and in general have a
camouflage purpose. These displays
are accompanied by a variety of
different arm postures. The literal
version of plaid consists of a
combination of stripes and bars, but
other variations can also include
only either stripes or bars.

variation I
Plaid is made up of brown
stripes and bars on a white
background on the mantle.
Darker dymantic dots may
extend from the central
bars. The fins are pale.
This display may be
accompanied by a posture
called Full-V.
